Sjusjøen has for several years been voted Norway’s number one cross-country ski destination, and many consider it to offer some of the best skiing conditions in the world. Here you’ll find more than 350 km of fantastic, well-groomed ski trails set in gentle and scenic mountain terrain. Approximately half of the Birkebeiner Trail runs through the Ringsakerfjellet region and Sjusjøen.

With excellent snow conditions, a varied trail network including a 5 km lighted trail, and a ski season lasting up to six months, Sjusjøen is a dream destination for cross-country skiing enthusiasts.
