Rustad Hotel is a family-run mountain hotel in Sjusjøen, just 20 minutes from Lillehammer. The hotel offers comfortable rooms, apartments, cabins, a restaurant, and modern meeting and conference facilities.
With cross-country ski trails, hiking paths, and Sjusjøvannet lake right on the doorstep, Rustad Hotel is an ideal base for experiencing nature all year round. For more than 90 years, the hotel has welcomed guests attending courses and conferences, celebrating weddings, enjoying holidays, and seeking active outdoor experiences, peace and tranquillity, good food, and genuine Norwegian mountain hospitality.
Run for generations
Rustad Hotel & Fjellstue is family owned and run by the Rustad Family since 1935. Today it is run by Karianne Rustad, who is the 4. generation.
It all started with 10 rooms, that had their own fireplace, wash basin and potty in the room. During the years it has been expanded and modernised in continuation with the generations. Today the hotel offers good hotel standard, but with the cosy atmosphere still well preserved.
