We are delighted that you have chosen to spend your holiday in one of our cabins here at Rustad Hotel. We hope you find peace and relaxation, unwind fully, and enjoy some truly wonderful days in the mountains.
As a cabin guest, you also have access to the hotel’s facilities during the relevant season:

If you would like to treat yourself to a little extra comfort, you are warmly welcome to visit the hotel.
Please inform us immediately if anything is not as it should be upon arrival, and we will resolve it as quickly as possible. It is always easier for us to assist you during your stay rather than at departure.
Meals at the Hotel
You are welcome to enjoy meals in the restaurant at discounted prices for cabin guests.
Dinner must be pre-booked no later than 17:00 on the same day.
Serving Hours:
- Breakfast: 08:00–10:00
- Lunch buffet: 13:30–15:00 (winter season)
- Dinner: 18:30

Practical Information for Cabin Guests
To ensure the best possible stay for everyone, we kindly ask you to read the information below.
Electricity
Please avoid using all heaters and kitchen appliances at the same time, as this may cause the fuses to trip.
During winter, we kindly ask that panel heaters be set to approximately 15°C when leaving the cabin to prevent frozen water pipes.
Firewood for Stove/Fireplace
Firewood is not included in the rental price.
It can be purchased at the hotel reception.
Parking
Please park outside the fence to ensure clear access to the cabins. This is important for snow clearing and accessibility in case of emergency.
We have two electric vehicle charging stations available.
Check-out
Check-out is at 11:00 unless otherwise agreed.
Please return the key to the hotel reception.
General information
The tenant is responsible for any damage to inventory and equipment. Damages must be reported to the hotel as soon as possible.
Toilet paper and cleaning products are not included in the rental.
Camping, motorhomes, and tents outside the cabins are not permitted.
Charging vehicles from the cabins is not allowed. Violations will result in an additional charge. EV chargers are available at the hotel.
Studded footwear is not permitted indoors.
Waste & environment
We are environmentally certified through Green Key and actively work to reduce our environmental footprint. We greatly appreciate your help with waste sorting.
Waste Disposal:
Waste bags are located in the stand outside the cabin.
Full bags must be placed in the waste room on the east side of the hotel (entrance by the garage door).
New bags are available at reception.
Sorting:
Paper: Sort in the designated container in the storage shed, then dispose of it in the waste room.
Glass and metal: Dispose of in the container outside the waste room.
Bottle deposits: Place in a bag inside the door of the waste room.

Cleaning before departure
The cabin must be left tidy. Please ensure the following is completed:
- Dishwasher emptied
- Pots and pans washed
- Dog hair swept/vacuumed if a dog has stayed
- Waste and bottles disposed of
- Rented bed linen removed and returned to the hotel
Lost property
Lost items are stored for one month after departure.
If you would like items returned, shipping costs must be covered by the recipient. Unfortunately, we cannot take responsibility for items once they have been shipped. After one month, unclaimed items will be donated to charity.
Non-smoking environment
All our rooms, cabins, and restaurants are non-smoking. Smoking is only permitted outdoors.
If smoking occurs indoors, a cleaning fee of NOK 3000 will be charged.
For fire safety reasons, please do not hang clothes over lamps or panel heaters.
